Description: Add a new branch under your account.
The following fields are present in the Add Branch page.
The following are the required fields to create a new branch.
Branch Name
Type the name of branch. It is advisable that you use a descriptive name for example Davao City Branch.
Branch Open Date
Select the date when the branch was opened.
The following are the optional fields.
Override Accounts SettingsIf you are operating in different countries, you can create a branch for each country and then override the Account Settings below. Also, if you give loans in multiple currencies, you can override the account currency. For example let's you give you loans in pounds and dollars and your account currency is in pounds. In that case, you can override the account currency and choose USD as the branch currency.
Check this option if you want to override the account country, account currency, and/or account date format set in Account Settings.
Select the country of the branch.
Select the branch currency.
Date Format
Select the date format of the branch
- dd/mm/yyyy - Day/Month/Year
- mm/dd/yyyy - Month/Day/Year
- yyyy/mm/dd - Year/Month/Day
The following are the optional fields.
Branch Address
Address where branch is located.
Branch City
City where branch is located.
Branch Province
Province or State where branch is located.
Branch Zipcode
Zipcode/Postcode of the branch.
Branch Landline
Landline number of the branch.
Branch Mobile
Mobile number of the branch. Must be numbers only.
The following are the optional fields.
The below fields are used to restrict loan values in the branch.
Minimum Loan Amount
This is the minimum loan amount that can be released in this branch. If you try to add loans below this amount, it will give you an error. Can be decimal value.
Maximum Loan Amount
This is the maximum loan amount that can be released in this branch. If you try to add loans above this amount, it will give you an error. Can be decimal value.
Minimum Loan Interest%
This is the minimum interest rate that can be released in this branch. If you try to add loans where the interest rate is below this value, it will give you an error. Can be decimal value.
Maximum Loan Interest%
This is the minimum interest rate that can be released in this branch. If you try to add loans where the interest rate is above this value, it will give you an error. Can be decimal value.
The following are the optional fields.
Branch Holidays
You can set branch holidays below. When you add a loan, the loan schedule will skip the holidays. For example, you may not want the loan collection dates to be on Christmas and New Year. In that case, you can choose 25th December and 1st January as the holiday dates. Also, some lending companies do not want collection dates to be on weekends. In that can, you can set Saturday and/or Sunday as a branch holiday. When you add a loan, the system will skip weekends and select the next available date which is not a holiday.
Click on the textarea and select multiple holiday dates. The system will skip these dates when calculating the loan schedule collection dates.
If you do not want loan collection dates to be on Saturdays, then select Yes. Otherwise select No.
If you do not want loan collection dates to be on Sundays, then select Yes. Otherwise select No.
